Donald the Demented Disruptor
I have a theory for how Donald Trump became president. My theory makes the assumption that everyone is looking in the wrong place for explanations. Everyone seems to think that since this was a political event then the answer must be political or economic or demographic in some way. This is partially correct. As I mentioned in an earlier post , if Hillary had gotten out the vote in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Detroit she would have likely beaten Donald. But, my contention is that the disruption of human life, so prevalent due to the advances of digital technology, governmental micromanagement, corporate power and commodification, globalization, among other reasons has deeply affected the American voter. Disruption is understated in the political narrative but it cannot be emphasized enough. The forces affecting the daily lives of Americans have frustrated the hell out of most people .
